Co-Founded by Bret Love & Mary Gabbett, Green Global Travel is an ecotourism, nature / wildlife conservation & cultural preservation magazine. More about us.
When we first came up with the idea for Green Global Travel, one of our primary goals was to create a unique website that would allow visitors to truly immerse themselves in the indigenous culture of a place– the people, the history, the music, the art and especially the food. Whether reading about a travel destination you dream of visiting someday, or simply looking for reminders of a favorite place you’ve already been, we want our stories to inspire as well as inform, encouraging others to expand their horizons as we continue to test our own boundaries.
In the past year we’ve published 30 recipes for delicious dishes from all over the world, from Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, China) and Africa (Ethiopia, Morocco, Botswana, South Africa) to Europe (Ireland, Norway, Italy, Germany) and the Caribbean (Jamaica, St. Kitts, Cayman Islands, Cuba). We’ve even shared a few favorites from my native Georgia, including my own personal recipe for Bourbon Balls.
We’d like to thank famous chefs such as Michael Schwartz, Zouhair Zairi, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten for graciously allowing us to use their recipes. And if you have a favorite recipe you’d like to see included on our site in the future, please email us at GreenGlobalTravel@gmail.com. In the meantime, enjoy these favorites…
