Ecuador Flag Flies Over Ecoventura's M/Y Eric
During our week-long cruise through the Galapagos Islands last month, I battled a pretty bad case of seasickness. So I spent a lot of time on the top deck of Ecoventura’s M/Y Eric, soaking in the spectacular scenery from the plush deck chairs. There was almost always a lot to see, from the Magnificent Frigates that seemed to constantly jockey for a prime spot soaring in the winds the ship created, to the picturesque landscapes of the volcano-strewn islands, to the gorgeous sunsets that seemed to greet us every night after we returned from our outdoor adventures of hiking and snorkeling in Darwin’s paradise. The sound of the Ecuadorian flag flapping in the breeze was my constant companion– a perfect symbol of the pride the locals had in their pristine wildlife sanctuary. –Bret Love
The Galapagos is very high on our list! Sorry to hear you were seasick. Though I bet the view from top deck aint half bad. =)
The view was amazing, and the trip was TOTALLY with it despite the seasickness. A friend who went to the Galapagos around the same time used drops behind the ears, and it cured her queasiness completely. We;ll be taking that with us next time we travel by boat for sure!
