Co-Founded by Bret Love & Mary Gabbett, Green Global Travel is an ecotourism, nature/wildlife conservation & sustainable living magazine.
The Flightless Cormorant, also known as the Galapagos Cormorant, is one of the world’s rarest bird species, with less than a 1000 estimated to remain in existence. They’re found only on the islands of Fernandina and Isabela, where you frequently see them diving down deep into the ocean in search of prey. We were extremely fortunate to witness a rare Flightless Cormorant mating dance during our morning on Fernandina and, in the process, learned a lot about these extremely unusual birds. Hope you enjoy! –Video by Bret Love & Mary Gabbett, music by Ken Elkinson (www.kenelkinson.com)

Awesome! What a charming tale – gracias!!
Thanks, Leslie! These videos take a bit more work than our normal stories, but we really love doing them. It’s like our own little Animal Planet. We’ll hopefully have one on the Galapagos Tortoises ready to publish within the next day or two.
